Our Origin
Founded with Heart and Purpose
Bangladeshis living in the United States remain deeply connected to our homeland and culture — its warmth, traditions, values, religion, and ethics. Though we have physically left our motherland, we continue to carry it in our hearts.
In 1995, a group of dedicated Bangladeshis from the Greater Khulna region established this society as a cultural bridge — a home away from home where our community could thrive, celebrate, and support one another.

Our Journey
Three Decades of Service
From a handful of families to a thriving community — the milestones that shaped who we are.
1995 The Society is Born
A group of families from the Greater Khulna region came together in New York to build a home away from home.
2003 First Scholarships Awarded
Our education fund sent its first students to college, backed entirely by community contributions.
2012 Cultural Programs Expand
Pohela Boishakh, Victory Day, and Mother Language Day grew into community-wide annual celebrations.
2019 Youth & Mentorship Launch
A structured mentorship program connected our young people with role models across the Tri-State area.
